Life Ease workshop with Feldenkrais and yoga

All welcome to this workshop where we will explore both Feldenkrais and yoga. This workshop  is intended to improve the sensibility, awareness and quality of movement through one’s own body feedback rather than teaching predefined or static forms.

How is the Feldenkrais Method® different than yoga and Pilates?
Feldenkrais focuses on function rather than form and does not have a goal of attaining an ideal body type or physical construction. The Feldenkrais Method is intended to improve the sensibility, awareness and quality of movement through one’s own body feedback rather than teaching predefined or static forms. Most people have difficulty feeling their body and try to move better without improving their sensory skills. This has absolute limitations. A musician can’t play music unless they can feel and hear the music and make fine distinctions. Feldenkrais does not have a goal to achieve “correct” positions as with yoga, but rather seeks to develop a more dexterous, painless and efficient body in motion.

Hills Yoga Classes timetable for March and April 2016

No yoga classes from the 29 March Tuesday until the 5 April Tuesday 2016
First class in April will be the Thursday 7th April. Schedule will then resume as normal

Tuesday and Thursday 7pm, Friday 9:15am and Saturday 8:30am

Sound Meditation session

A sound meditation session is planned for the 12 March 2016 at Hills Yoga at 15 the Crescent Helena Valley at 10:30 am for one hour.
Cost $35 I will leave a notice at the hall to sign up and pay.
Will finish the Saturday yoga session at 10:00 , have a cuppa and then relax again with the sound meditation session.
What a nice way to start the weekend.

Home of Yoga retreat at Hills Yoga Classes

10 January 2016 15 The Crescent Helena Valley 9am to 5pm

You are all invited to come together for a day of connection, community and celebration. A day of yoga, dancing, breathwork, mindfulness practices, active meditations, music, fun and sharing of heart space. A perfect way to begin 2016.

Facilitated by Sam and Sydel Weinstein and supported by a whole crew of wonderful teachers and assistants.

We will end to day with a sharing of food (dahl, vegetable curry) and music.

All are welcome to join our retreat day. You will get to experience the spirit and essence of our Full Bali Adventures and Bush Retreat Weekends in the setting of the’ Hills yoga classes’ wonderfully cool yoga studio surrounded by trees and a pool to cool down in close by.

If you have been to one of our retreats before this is a way to reconnect. If you are going with us to the Bali Spirit Pre-Retreat & Festival, this is a way to warm up and get ready. If you have never been to one of our retreats and you are curious, we guarantee you are in for a treat! Thats why it is called a Re-treat!

We are limiting the Retreat to 20 spaces. So please book early to secure your place. You can book by transferring funds to
